Features: In the compilation of this textbook, we adhere to the training objectives of the 8-year clinical medicine program. Compared to the original 7-year program textbook, we strive to highlight the following characteristics: 1. Emphasizing advancement, while maintaining the principles of "three foundations" and "five qualities," we introduce the latest advancements in the field of neurology in recent years. In terms of content selection, we have incorporated the increasing number of diseases globally, reflecting the new changes in the disease spectrum. Within each chapter, we have introduced the latest research findings from both domestic and international studies on etiology, pathogenesis, diagnostic techniques, and treatment methods. The concepts of evidence-based medicine and standardized treatment are integrated throughout the textbook. 2. Emphasizing practicality, this textbook maintains the systematic and comprehensive nature of a textbook while strongly emphasizing close ties to clinical practice. 3. Emphasizing readability, as the textbook covers a significant amount of anatomical and physiological knowledge, we have added numerous illustrations to facilitate students' understanding and memorization. We have carefully drawn 118 shaded and line diagrams, along with 35 color tables, making the content (visually engaging and informative). The charts are intuitive, and the legends are well-organized. At the end of each chapter, we provide key references, and at the end of the entire book, we include English-Chinese and English-Chinese indexes to facilitate further learning and quick reference to specific content or concepts.
