Features: Tianjin is a modern megacity that evolved from a military fortress during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Historically, it has been the political, economic, cultural, and military center of northern China. To preserve and develop the architectural heritage of the nation and the region, as well as to build a modern Tianjin, leaders and experts have called for the organization and research of Tianjin's architectural style. This project involved experts from various fields, who collected, organized, and analyzed nearly a century of data on Tianjin's urban construction. The research was divided into five topics: the formation of Tianjin's urban form and urban design, the style of modern residential architecture in Tianjin, the style of modern public architecture in Tianjin, the style of traditional regional architecture in Tianjin's old town, and the style of modern public architecture in Tianjin. The corresponding conclusions were drawn, a large number of drawings were created, and the book is now officially published under the title "Tianjin's Architectural Style."
