This standard, effective from the date of implementation, replaces JC514.3-1993 simultaneously. This standard is provided and supervised by the Institute of Glass Science and Special Glass Fiber Research, Chinese Academy of Building Materials Sciences. The drafting unit responsible for this standard is the Institute of Glass Science and Special Glass Fiber Research, Chinese Academy of Building Materials Sciences. The main drafters of this standard are Ma Yanhua, Wang Rui, Wang Xiaosong, and Li Youlian. This standard was first published in October 1982 and revised for the second time in November 1989.
