Features: In accordance with the requirements of the notice issued by the Ministry of Construction titled "Print and Distribute the Notice on the Formulation Plan of National Engineering Construction Standards for the 2000-2001 Period" (Jianbiao [2001] 87), to meet the needs of urban natural gas engineering construction in China's west-to-east natural gas transmission project, the North China Municipal Engineering Design and Research Institute, together with relevant units, has carried out a partial revision of the "Code for Urban Gas Engineering Design" GB50028-93. The Ministry has organized relevant units to review the provisions of the partial revision of this standard and hereby approves it, effective from August 1, 2002.
