Features: Since its publication in 1998, the "Standard Collection of Insulation (Thermal Insulation) Materials and Applied Engineering" has been well-received by engineering and technical personnel and management staff engaged in energy conservation work across various industrial sectors, enterprises, institutions, scientific research and design organizations, and universities. It has provided convenient access to queries and guidance for their work. With the rapid development of the international and domestic insulation and thermal insulation material industry, as well as the requirement from the National Standardization Administration Commission to quickly transform advanced international and foreign national standards into domestic standards, the insulation (thermal insulation) material standards have undergone significant changes in recent years. Relevant standardization professional institutions have formulated many new national and industry standards based on the production and usage of insulation materials domestically and internationally, while also revising and reaffirming a considerable number of existing standards. For this purpose, the Research Center for Building Materials Industry Technical Supervision (formerly the Standardization Research Institute of the National Building Materials Administration) and the Second Editorial Office of China Standard Press have jointly organized, collected, and compiled this book. This collection includes 61 current national standards and 20 industry standards as of the end of 2003. It retains the classification method of the 1998 edition, categorizing them into "Applied Engineering of Insulation (Thermal Insulation) Materials," "Insulation (Thermal Insulation) Materials," and "Test Methods for Insulation (Thermal Insulation) Material Properties." Among them, there are 11 standards for applied engineering of insulation (thermal insulation) materials, 33 standards for insulation (thermal insulation) materials, 8 standards for test methods of thermal conductivity and thermal resistance, 10 standards for test methods of combustion performance, and 20 standards for test methods of other properties. This collection is reasonably categorized and user-friendly. The target readers include production technology personnel, researchers, and management staff engaged in the production, design, construction, engineering application, and quality inspection of insulation (thermal insulation) materials. The attributes of the national and industry standards collected in this book are indicated in the table of contents (GB or GB/T, JC or JC/T). The four-digit year designations are used for the years. Some standards were published before the national standard cleanup and revision, and have not been updated yet, so the main text remains unchanged. When using these standards, their attributes should be referred to as indicated in the table of contents (please note the attributes of standards cited in the "Referenced Standards" or "Normative References" sections of the main text). Quantities and units have not been modified. GB/T 10800—1989 has been replaced by QB/T 3806—1999, but it has not been re-published, so the main text remains unchanged. In the table of contents of this collection, the four-digit year designations of industry standards followed by "(1996)" indicate that these standards were reaffirmed in 1996 but have not been re-published.
