Features: With China's entry into the WTO, economic and trade exchanges worldwide have been increasing. To facilitate international communication, China has accelerated the adoption of standards and developed or revised many of them. To meet the needs of readers for the latest standard versions, our press has published the "China Mechanical Industry Standard Series." Since its publication, this series has played a positive role in promoting the development of the mechanical industry. The newly published "China Mechanical Industry Standard Series - Screw Volume (3rd Edition)" retains all effective standards from the 2nd edition while adding 15 screw national standards approved from August 2002 to the end of November 2004, and removing superseded standards. The attributes of national standards in this volume are indicated in the table of contents (GB or GB/T), with years represented by four digits. Some of the national standards in this volume were published before the cleanup and restructuring, and have not yet been revised. Therefore, the original text of these standards remains unchanged. When using these national standards, readers should refer to the attributes indicated in the table of contents (please note the attributes of referenced standards in the "References" section of the standard text). This volume is jointly compiled by the Third Editorial Office of China Standard Press and the National Technical Committee for Screw Standardization, collecting all 63 currently effective screw standards approved by the end of November 2004. We hope that the publication of the 3rd edition will further promote the popularization and implementation of standards and the improvement of product quality.
