Features: When you step into Guangzhou, you will first notice that it is a world of flowers. Every spring, the city is ablaze with crimson Bauhinia and purple crape myrtle in full bloom; in summer, thousands of trees of flame trees dazzle like clouds of rosy clouds; in autumn, golden chrysanthemums bloom everywhere, covering the city and its streets; and in winter, along the banks of Liu Xi River, there miraculously bloom mountains of crimson leaves and fields of plum blossoms like snow. No matter how cold and snowy it is elsewhere in the world, Guangzhou remains a sea of flowers, "where a corner of spring still lingers." And those clusters of pink, yellow, crimson, and purple that drift out from every balcony and courtyard wall, unintentionally, form an "imprint of Guangzhou" that has remained unchanged for three thousand years.
