Features: Due to anatomical features such as the uterus and ovaries, and physiological characteristics like menstruation, menses, pregnancy, childbirth, and lactation, women differ from men in both physiology and pathology. The uterus is the primary organ for menstruation and fetal development, while the ovaries mainly produce oocytes and secrete female hormones. The anatomical and physiological features of women make them endure more hardships than men. The unique phases of women's lives—menstruation, pregnancy, postpartum, lactation, and menopause—due to varying degrees of endocrine function changes, make them highly susceptible to a wide range of diseases, causing women immense suffering and torment. To address the concerns of women, we organized a team to compile this book, "1001 Questions for Gynecologists."
This book is tailored for modern women, with the aim of providing health consultation services to sisters everywhere. Focusing on prevention and treatment, it explains common women's health issues in plain and easy-to-understand language. The book is divided into nine chapters, covering topics from basic female physiology to the prevention, treatment, and health care of common diseases such as menstrual disorders, common inflammations, infertility, pregnancy and childbirth-related conditions, menopausal diseases, gynecological tumors, sexually transmitted diseases, and daily health care. The content is presented in an accessible and concise manner.
During the writing process, we strived to avoid dry theoretical explanations, emphasizing practical and participatory guidance. The book adopts a question-and-answer format, blending knowledge with interest, avoiding lengthy lectures, and ensuring that all readers benefit from it, gaining health insights. Additionally, it helps readers quickly find the information they need.
