Features: The book is organized around the theme of "transforming consciousness into wisdom," dividing the research on the Tsinghua School into three parts. Part I is a general introduction to the Tsinghua School. In Part II, the philosophical thought and historical evolution of the Tsinghua School will be examined and discussed, with a particular focus on the relationship between the Tsinghua School and positivism. Part III is a study of some representative figures and their ideas within the Modern Neo-Confucianism, an important philosophical school in 20th-century China. These studies of Modern Neo-Confucianism are included to provide a reference framework for the Tsinghua School. As mentioned above, in the history of 20th-century Chinese philosophy, the concern over the issue of "transforming consciousness into wisdom" was not limited to the Tsinghua School. In addition to the Tsinghua School, Modern Neo-Confucianism also engaged in unique and innovative thinking on this issue. However, the perspectives of Modern Neo-Confucianism on "transforming consciousness into wisdom" differ significantly from those of the Tsinghua School. If the Tsinghua School's reflections on this issue were influenced by Kant, then the Modern Neo-Confucianism's thoughts on it were anti-Kantian or entirely non-Kantian. Therefore, using Modern Neo-Confucianism as a point of comparison not only illustrates that there were two types of thinking about "transforming consciousness into wisdom" in the history of 20th-century Chinese philosophy but also shows that both types of thinking were related to Kantian philosophy.
