Features: The "Japanese University Entrance Examination" (EJU) is conducted twice a year in June and November, replacing the former "Unified Examination for Self-Financing International Students" administered by the Japan Association for International Education. The exam targets candidates applying to Japanese universities (including universities, junior colleges, vocational schools, etc.). It primarily assesses the examinees' Japanese proficiency and basic academic abilities, divided into two tracks: Liberal Arts and Science. The Liberal Arts track includes subjects such as "Japanese," "Math 1," and "Comprehensive Subjects (Civics, Geography, History)," while the Science track consists of four subjects: "Japanese," "Math 2," "Science (choosing two from Physics, Chemistry, Biology)." The results of the "Japanese University Entrance Examination" are valid for two years. To help Chinese learners of Japanese and those planning to study in Japan understand the exam's subjects, content, and format, the China Foreign Languages Press has introduced and published the "Japanese University Entrance Examination Preparation" series, including five books: "Comprehensive Subjects," "Listening & Reading Comprehension," "Reading Comprehension," "Math 1," and "Physics." These books provide highly effective assistance to candidates.
This book, "Comprehensive Subjects," is a standalone exam subject in the "Japanese University Entrance Examination," covering the content of high school courses such as "Civics," "Geography," and "History" in Japan. It primarily tests the candidates' foundational knowledge in liberal arts. Each chapter includes review questions to help learners assess their understanding of the material. At the end of the book, there are practice tests and answer keys for self-assessment and training purposes.
