Features: In the bustling city, everyone carries dreams and expectations. On the subway, different musicians are either deeply immersed or carefree; for a living, or simply for someone to listen. In every carriage, there are strangers of different races, languages, and expressions. A city can be so inclusive—this is why Paris attracts me. I love books, daydreaming, coffee, and sunshine—this is the life I enjoy in Paris. Jie once mentioned his dream: at the age of thirty, in a small town in the south, between mountains and waters, to buy a wooden house, raise a big dog, and plant sunflowers in his own garden. Not everyone has such a beautiful dream, but mine has always been in China, though it feels like miles away from him. My friends often joke about marrying a Chinese husband and finding a French lover. I laugh at her greed. Love, wherever it is and with whom, should always be loyal, pure, free, and absolute. In fact, we just need to Ecouterton Coeur (listen to your heart) enough. The small towns we pass through, the people we meet, and the moments that move us may no longer be there, leaving only memories. When we grow old, even if we are aging, poor, and lonely, at least we will remember having shared so many wonderful moments.
