Publish Date: 2005-07-01
Features: The National Japanese Translation Professional Qualification (Level) Examination, launched by the Ministry of Personnel, underwent pilot testing in Beijing, Shanghai, and Dalian in November 2004. It will be gradually rolled out nationwide starting in May 2005. Once fully implemented nationwide, this examination will replace the previous system of translation title assessment. The primary purpose of this book is to familiarize readers with the exam questions. When using this book, we recommend not completing all the questions at once but rather doing them in stages. After completing a set, summarize your performance and then focus on improving your weaknesses before moving on to another set. This approach allows you to track your progress and effectively use the book to assess your level.
In terms of normal study for interpreting comprehensive ability, it essentially involves extensive reading and listening. The more readers there are, the more they listen, the larger their vocabulary will become, and the stronger their ability to understand and master various expressions will be. As a result, answering multiple-choice questions will also become easier.
This series also includes four additional books: Japanese Translation Practice (Level 3 & 2), Japanese Translation Comprehensive Ability (Level 3 & 2), Japanese Interpretation Practice (Level 3 & 2), and Japanese Interpretation Comprehensive Ability (Level 3 & 2).
