Witch

Author: Jeffrey Huntington

Publish Date: 2004-07-01
Features: This book starts terrifying from the page and goes all the way to the last page, truly an unforgettable classic. Jeffrey's work is full of spirit and the extraordinary, surpassing my Goosebumps series and rivaling Harry Potter. The level of supernatural elements described in the book completely exceeds Harry Potter, which is precisely what I have always admired. Long ago, a rebellious witch named Isabelle launched a war against her own kind—magicians who revered the power of night flight. A large group of cruel demons supported her, making her the most feared woman in all of Europe. She even challenged the throne of King Henry IV of England. For her crimes, Isabelle was tied to a stake and burned at the stake, but she transformed and escaped, vowing to return and conquer the world.
