Features: This book is the exercise manual for the textbook Themenaktuell Kursbuch 1 of New Standard German Intensive Course. It is divided into two parts: Arbeistuch and Wiederholungsbuch. The second part, Arbeistuch, focuses on practicing the key sentence patterns and their usage introduced in each lesson. All exercises are designed based on the learning steps in the student book. At the beginning of each lesson, there is a concise table summarizing the vocabulary, key sentence patterns, and grammar for that lesson. The numbers next to each item indicate the corresponding page number in the Student Book. Learners can use this table to check their learning progress. The authors do not recommend simply memorizing the content of the table; instead, learners should use this exercise manual to study efficiently. The exercises in this manual should first be explained by the teacher in class. Depending on the learner's progress, some exercises can also be assigned as homework. Only the exercises in Practice 6 of Lesson 9 require the use of an audio tape.
The second part of the book, Wiederholungsbuch, provides learners with a space for self-study. Once learners have a solid grasp of the Student Book and this manual, they can consider using some of the exercises to further enhance their German skills. The exercises in this section are not directly related to the lessons and can be completed independently. If any questions arise, learners can refer to the answers provided at the back of the book.
