Publish Date: 2004-02-01
Features: Since the publication of "New Century Japanese Course" (hereinafter referred to as "The Course"), it has been widely welcomed by Japanese learners in universities across the country. In less than two years, it has been printed five times to meet the needs of teachers, students, and self-learners of Japanese. The structure of this book corresponds to "The Course," with each lesson as a unit, consisting of three parts: Word Application, Grammar Explanation, and Q&A.
"Word Application" selects new words from the lesson and supplementary words, focusing on the basic usage of each word, providing two or three typical examples as a supplement to the word usage in "The Course." Additionally, it highlights points to note in practical use and related words.
"Grammar Explanation" further extends and expands the grammar points in "The Course," with a slightly broader scope and slightly higher difficulty. This aims to enable teachers to teach with confidence and fluency, and for learners to understand the full picture of the grammar points and their connections to surrounding grammar topics, allowing for broader comprehension.
"Q&A" takes practical problems that arise in the teaching of second foreign Japanese as the main line, presenting answers in the form of Q&A to elaborate on issues related to Japanese culture, vocabulary, and grammar. The intent is novel, the answers are detailed and witty. It is believed that the benefits of this will extend far beyond the users of "The Course."
