Japanese literary works_Reading and Translation

Author: Zhao Ping, Li Ling (editors)
Publisher:
Publish Date: 2005-02-01
Features: We compiled this Japanese learning book using Japanese literary works as material, integrating reading comprehension and translation. This was not an impulsive decision. Reading a foreign language article is about whether you can fully understand and digest it, which ultimately depends on your ability to accurately express its content in your own language. As for translation, it goes without saying that thoroughly understanding the original text is paramount. Therefore, combining reading comprehension and translation in one book is not a forced assembly but a natural progression. The eleven Japanese literary works included in this book were all created by Chinese authors—Zhao Ping and the author. Here, it truly reflects the spirit mentioned by Mr. Nakamura Hiroshi in the preface, that is, Japanese literary works created with a backdrop of Chinese society and culture are more likely to spark interest and make it easier for Chinese Japanese learners to grasp their meaning. Although the Japanese literary works included in this book are by Zhao Ping and the author, Zhao Ping's works account for ten, while the author's contribution is merely a small addition. Therefore, it seems necessary to introduce the Japanese literary creations of Zhao Ping to the readers.
