This textbook is divided into 16 lessons, each unit including the following content:
1. Listening and Judgment Practice. The main purpose of this section is to train and test students' ability to correctly understand and grasp prepared information in Japanese listening materials and make accurate judgments according to requirements through practical operations. Based on the specific form of the recording materials, this section is divided into the following three types:
(1) Listen to a conversation and answer questions.
(2) Listen to a short passage and answer questions.
(3) Listen to an article recording and fill in the blanks.
2. Comprehension and Summarization Practice. After listening to an article, summarize its core content in Chinese. This section focuses on training and testing students' comprehensive ability to summarize, organize, and express the main content of Japanese listening materials in Chinese within the specified time after correctly understanding the overall content.
3. Chinese Translation Practice of Common New Words and Phrases. This section focuses on training and testing students' basic skills in Chinese-to-Japanese translation and helps them understand the Japanese translations of common Chinese vocabulary used to express new things.
4. Full Text of Recording Materials. To facilitate students in checking and confirming the content of each part of the listening practice at any time, the full text of the recording materials is attached at the end of each unit. Due to the characteristics of these recording materials—short, concise, rich in knowledge, and up-to-date—they can also be used for reading practice in addition to listening exercises, thereby deepening the understanding of Japanese society.
5. At the end of each unit, a "Key Learning Points" section is provided. This section mainly annotates difficult words that appear in the exercises and provides the correct or reference answers for each part of the exercises, serving as a standard for students to self-assess their comprehensive interpretation ability. Additionally, in the "Key Learning Points" of the Listening and Judgment Practice, necessary hints are given for key sentences when making choices.
