Introduction
The "Fundamentals of Karate Course" is suitable for adult members aged 18 and above. It is divided into three volumes: "Yellow Belt Tutorial," "Gold Belt Tutorial," and "Purple Belt Tutorial." Each volume shares the same overall outline but is self-contained. The technical theories are concise and logical, with a focus on key points. The content is richly illustrated, making it easy to learn. The routines are standardized, well-structured, and organized in a progressive manner, from simple to complex, emphasizing practical application. Each volume consists of 24 practical techniques, arranged into routines following specific rules, demonstrating the characteristics of Long Fist, Southern Fist, and Internal Fist styles.
When practicing the Yellow Belt routine, the movements are graceful and flowing, with clear rhythms, expansive and elegant postures, swift hand techniques, smooth power, fully reflecting the style of Long Fist. When practicing the Gold Belt routine, the movements are vigorous and fierce, with powerful momentum, audible breathing, strong rhythms, and intense fist techniques, fully reflecting the style of Southern Fist. When practicing the Purple Belt routine, the movements are slow and gentle, combining softness and hardness, incorporating both empty and solid techniques, with integrated intention and form, springy and explosive power, and immediate response upon contact, fully reflecting the style of Internal Fist.
After mastering the routines, the practical techniques within them are trained specifically. Through scientific training methods such as mirror practice on the spot, step coordination, weapon assistance, attack-defense transitions, and simulated combat, a conditioned reflex is gradually formed, achieving effortless and natural application.
