Features: The study of value issues has been a hot topic in Chinese academia since the 1980s, especially since the 1990s. However, the process of China's accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO) has not attracted much attention from researchers on value issues in the philosophy field. In other words, on the one hand, scholars in fields such as economics, law, politics, and culture who study the WTO rarely address value issues; on the other hand, research on value issues in philosophy almost completely ignores the WTO. Neither scholars studying the WTO nor those studying philosophy have closely linked China's accession to the WTO with the construction of its values. As a result, a significant gap has emerged in the research on this major issue of China's entry into the WTO. The research in this book aims to fill this gap.
