Features: Alfred North Whitehead (1861–1948) was a British mathematician and philosopher. He began studying mathematical logic while studying at the University of Cambridge, and later studied natural sciences at the University of London. After being recruited by Harvard University in the United States, he turned to studying metaphysics, undergoing expansion and transformation in his thinking. He was a late bloomer, completing most of his works after turning 63 and arriving in the United States. He inherited the Western philosophical tradition from Plato and Aristotle, absorbing the relativistic ethics represented by Einstein and the scientific achievements after quantum mechanics, and constructed the "organism philosophy."
