He insists on not admitting that he is an insect photographer because his photographic works stem from personal hobbies, not insect species or structures, but the beauty presented in insect activities. Beauty moved Li Yuansheng. In the book, he writes: Good insect photography is more important than more spectacular poses and more wonderful expressions, because it provides the beauty and poetry of insect survival. He uses a lot of beautiful words to describe his shooting process and mindset, distinguishing the insect world in the eyes of a poet from an ordinary popular science book. From a certain perspective, this is more like a collection of poetic and picturesque essays.
