The revision is based on the designated textbook "Educational Evaluation and Supervision (：Educational Evaluation and Supervision Self-Study Examination Syllabus)" compiled by the National Higher Education Self-Study Examination Guidance Committee, edited by Liu Shulan and published by East China Normal University Press. The important foundational work for the revision includes: 1. In-depth analysis and research on the requirements of the examination syllabus and the new spirit of question setting; 2. In-depth analysis and research on the new national unified question-setting format, point distribution, answer requirements, and scoring standards of the Higher Education Self-Study Examination; 3. Extensive analysis of the problems self-study examinees face in learning and actual test-taking, with targeted national guidance and synchronous training. The structure and significant features of this book: 1. The book follows the syllabus's prescribed assessment knowledge points and ability levels as a thread, organizing chapters according to the assessment knowledge points and ability levels required by the syllabus. All knowledge points in each chapter are compiled into synchronous exercises in various examination formats, accompanied by reference answers. The writing aims to achieve a balance between comprehensive coverage and emphasis on key points. 2.
