Features: This textbook is compiled based on the "Basic Requirements for Teaching of Mechanical Design Basics in Higher Vocational and Technical Education" formulated by the Ministry of Education. Finally, considering the widespread use of new technologies and equipment in power supply systems, the book introduces topics such as comprehensive automation of substations, comprehensive automation systems of substations, unmanned substation operations, comprehensive automation of distribution networks, microcomputer protection of power supply systems, and their applications. The textbook takes the application of factory power supply as the main line, adding content related to building electricity to broaden students' knowledge. While discussing engineering design methods and operation and maintenance, it pays special attention to the systematicity of fundamental theories and the practicality of applications in actual power supply technology. It also summarizes new equipment, technologies, and issues in factory power supply technology, emphasizing the integration of a series of power supply national standards and design operation specifications recently promulgated by the state, and updates the new technologies and specifications in factory power supply technology in recent years.
