Features: The "Urban Gas Design Code (GB50028-2006)" is published by China Architecture & Building Press. According to the notice of the Ministry of Construction "Issued on the Implementation of the 'Plan for the Formulation and Revision of National Engineering Construction Standards for the 2000-2001 Annual' " (Jianbiao [2001] No. 87), the "Urban Gas Design Code" GB50028—93 was revised jointly by the North China Research Institute of Municipal Engineering and relevant units. During the revision process, the drafting group conducted extensive research based on national policies and the actual conditions of urban gas in China. They carefully summarized the experience of urban gas engineering construction and the implementation of standards over the past ten years, absorbed advanced standards from developed countries, carried out necessary thematic research and technical discussions, and widely solicited opinions from relevant units across the country. Finally, it was reviewed and finalized by the Ministry of Construction in conjunction with relevant departments. This code consists of 10 chapters and 6 appendices, with its main contents including: General Provisions, Terms, Gas Consumption and Gas Quality, Gas Production, Purification, Gas Transmission and Distribution Systems, Compressed Natural Gas Supply, Liquefied Petroleum Gas Supply, Liquefied Natural Gas Supply, and the Application of Gas, etc.
