Features: Whether from the perspective of academic research or professional mathematics, a literature review of a discipline holds significant teaching reference value and academic research value. In international major academic journals, literature reviews are mostly written by experts well-versed in the field. Promoting the research and teaching standards of China's international economics and establishing China's world economy have been the long-term and unremitting efforts of the China Society of World Economy. Reviewing the evolution and development of international economic theory is an important foundational task. Organized by the Theoretical Committee of the China Society of World Economy, this book, completed after three years of dedicated effort by universities and research institutions across the country, represents an important attempt by the domestic world economy community. The book collects 14 literature reviews on current international economics, covering key issues in contemporary world economy research, including international trade theory and policy, new trade theory and liberalism, foreign direct investment, exchange rate regime choice, optimum currency area theory, East Asian exchange rate regime choice and monetary cooperation, regional economic cooperation and integration, world economy cycles, finance and law, asset pricing, corporate financing decisions, and global public goods, among other topics and fields, with their recent developments over the past 30 years. Although these 14 literature reviews cannot fully encompass all the current cutting-edge dynamics and hot topics in international economics, they provide a general grasp of some of the major advancements in the field. Therefore, the book can offer foundational background for the current teaching and research of world economy in China and is suitable for graduate-level teaching use.
