This textbook introduces the basic knowledge and principles of automotive maintenance, with main content including common maintenance tasks (engine, transmission, chassis, braking systems, electrical systems); basic overhauls (overhaul steps and fundamental skills); and general skills (disassembly and installation procedures for cylinder heads, cylinder blocks, valve clearances/preload, and internal components; testing of electrical components). Test questions are provided at the end of the book. This series of textbooks is suitable as teaching materials for automotive application and maintenance programs in vocational colleges and can also serve as on-the-job training manuals for professionals in the automotive maintenance industry.
