Is lower back pain after ejaculation caused by prostatitis?

Patient's question:

I have been experiencing lower back pain after ejaculation in the past few months. At first, it only lasted for 1-2 days, but recently it has been almost a month without improvement. It's a dull, aching pain, but it doesn't affect my daily life. I'm wondering if this could be prostatitis. It's just the lower back pain, with no other issues, such as frequent urination, which could rule out prostatitis? Additionally, I have been suffering from kidney deficiency due to excessive masturbation, which has caused premature ejaculation. Could my back pain be due to prostatitis or kidney deficiency? I am 26 years old.

Doctor's answer:

It might still be prostatitis. You can have a prostatic fluid test to confirm the diagnosis. The main symptoms of prostatitis are: frequent urination, urinary urgency, urinary pain, perineal pain, discomfort in the lower abdomen, perineum, and testicular area. There is often white discharge in the urethra, accompanied by lower back and knee weakness, impotence, premature ejaculation, and even hematuria or hematospermia. Not every symptom needs to be present to be prostatitis. A test will tell you for sure.
