Mild varicocele need treatment or not

Patient's question:

I recently had an ultrasound examination, and it seems there is a bit of varicocele, with a diameter of three millimeters. The size and shape of both testicles are normal. Do you think I need further diagnosis and examination? I don't usually feel any discomfort, and I sleep normally without insomnia. Is this considered a mild symptom? Can most mild cases be self-cured? What kind of exercise is not suitable for me? Will it affect my fertility like this? What should I pay attention to?

Doctor's answer:

Mild varicocele is often caused by unhealthy habits in men, and varicocele can frequently lead to male infertility. Therefore, men should seek timely treatment for varicocele. Severe varicocele may require surgical treatment, but mild varicocele can be regulated through dietary therapy.
