Features: Anyone who has visited Jinan shares a similar feeling: Jinan is a city with a profound cultural heritage, so rich that it seems bottomless. One of the key reasons for Jinan's rich cultural heritage lies in its having given birth to and accommodated a large number of historical and cultural figures. By conducting in-depth research on these figures and then presenting them to readers in an accessible manner, this book aims to fulfill our original intention. The book is organized as "Biographies of Local Famous Figures of Jinan," with the second part introducing some visiting famous figures and their connections to Jinan. The main subjects are arranged in chronological order by birth year, with those of unknown birth years placed in appropriate positions based on their deeds or historical context. Due to space constraints, the book does not include annotations for the numerous ancient texts and poems quoted, which may pose some difficulties for some readers. For this, we sincerely apologize. During the compilation of this book, the contributors have referred to the published works of many experts and scholars. For this, we express our heartfelt gratitude.
