Features: "The Report on the State of Chinese Language Life (2005)" is the first annual report on the state of language life released to the public by the National Language Commission, and it is also a part of the "Green Book of Chinese Language Life" by the National Language Commission. Additionally, there is a lack of basic experience in analyzing data obtained from massive corpus databases. However, they overcame difficulties and worked diligently, uncovering many interesting findings in terms of character usage, word choice, punctuation, and symbols.
