Features: "The Drafts of Mao Zedong since the Founding of the People's Republic of China" is a multi-volume documentary collection intended for research purposes. It includes the following three types of drafts by Mao Zedong after the founding of the country:
(1) Handwritten drafts (including articles, directives, comments, speech outlines, annotations, letters, poems, and lengthy additions written on documents);
(2) Speeches and recorded conversations that he reviewed and approved;
(3) Other drafts issued in his name after his review.
Some of these drafts have been publicly published, while most have been distributed within the Party or in broader or narrower circles. A portion remains unpublished. Among them are included judgments and viewpoints that have been proven correct through practice. Unreviewed speeches and recorded conversations are not included in this documentary collection. The collection is organized chronologically and published in separate volumes.
