Features: Serbia and Montenegro, formerly known as the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (commonly referred to as "Yugoslavia"). It is a relatively young country in the Balkan region, formed by the union of Serbia and Montenegro after the dissolution of the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia ("Yugoslavia") in 1991. Historically, it has suffered invasions and rule by various external powerful ethnic groups. In the joint victory of the South Slavic peoples over the fascists and the establishment of an independent federal community, it made significant contributions. After the dissolution of Yugoslavia, due to internal ethnic conflicts and external interference, the Kosovo War and NATO military intervention broke out, making it a focal point of international struggles. With the arrival of the 21st century, it has gradually embarked on the path of peaceful development.
