Features: The widespread application of couplets is common in our daily lives, but the problem is that many of the couplets spread by the media, recited by people, or displayed in various occasions are actually not couplets or do not qualify as proper ones. It is evident that there are quite a number of people who are enthusiastic about but not well-versed in the art of couplets. This is inconsistent with our vast and culturally rich nation, which has long been renowned as the "Land of Poetry." Yet, the number of couplet books and publications in the book market is pitifully scarce. The publication of this series solves all these difficulties.
Wintry, also known as scenic spot couplets, refers to couplets specifically composed for various scenic areas and historical sites. The couplet world generally classifies wintry into two major categories: natural landscapes and cultural landscapes. The natural landscape category can be further subdivided into mountains and hills, rivers and streams. The mountain category can be further divided into mountains, peaks, grottoes, canyons, slopes, bird islands, and forests. The river category can be further divided into oceans, rivers, lakes, ponds, waterfalls, and springs. The cultural landscape category is relatively complex and can be broadly categorized into memorials, educational institutions, religious sites, gardens, theaters, bridges, ancient buildings, historical ruins, and modern structures.
