Features: The five-volume collection incorporates academic research achievements that scholars have painstakingly collected, organized, and verified over decades. Building on this foundation, we have further strived to achieve new results in the collection of Li Dazhao's. This primarily involves the successive discovery of a batch of important texts directly related to the direction of the Chinese revolution during Li Dazhao's tenure as Secretary of the Northern Committee of the Communist Party of China (1925-1927), totaling over 20 pieces and approximately 50,000 words. These texts hold significant historical value in both the history of the Communist Party of China and the history of the Chinese revolution. The discovery and confirmation of these documents haveed the previous lack of materials reflecting Li Dazhao's actual activities and historical contributions during important periods of the Chinese revolution. For this reedition, we have again supplemented, revised, and proofread the entire work, and have decided to change the title to "The Complete Works of Li Dazhao" (New Annotated Edition). Of course, a "complete works" can never be exhaustive, especially considering the legacy of bloodshed and textual persecution faced by martyrs whose have survived. We hope that scholars both at home and abroad will continue to pay attention to the collection of, in the hope of new discoveries and supplements, making the invaluable cultural heritage left by Dazhao more complete. The editorial principles and structure of this book remain unchanged, with only new entries added and a new "Appendix" section introduced. Below is a brief explanation of relevant issues:
1. New entries have been added. Compared to the five-volume collection, 78 additional articles by Li Dazhao have been included.
2. Necessary adjustments and changes have been made to the arrangement of some manuscripts.
3. A new "Appendix" section has been added and placed at the end of the book.
