Features: The "Guangxu Shuntian Prefecture Gazetteer" is one of the most complete sets of local gazetteers preserved in our collection (ZQ1-1-1076—1139). It was compiled by establishing a bureau in the fifth year of the Guangxu reign (1879) and completed in the twelfth year (1886), comprising one hundred and thirty volumes. The book dedicates significant space to describing the waterways and water conservancy conditions of Shuntian Prefecture, as well as its historical changes and administrative structures, covering periods from the Zhou Dynasty to the late Qing Dynasty. It is a monumental work for the late Qing decline. This set of gazetteers provides us with systematic and comprehensive historical materials, holding important practical value.
