Publish Date: 1996-10-01
Features:
1. The content of this index volume is the table of contents and the title index of the 2nd edition of the "Collected Works of Lenin," both of which include the titles of all works, letters, notes, and appendices in the 1st to 60th volumes of the 2nd edition.
2. The table of contents of the 2nd edition is arranged in volume order, with each document marked by the page number of its respective volume. For documents that were included in the 1st edition, the volume and page numbers of the 1st edition are added in parentheses.
3. The title index of the 2nd edition is divided into:
- Title index of works and notes;
- Title index of letters;
- Title index of non-Lenin works.
They are all arranged in the order of the Pinyin alphabet, with the volume and page numbers of the 2nd edition marked after each title.
4. In the "Title Index of Works and Notes," documents with the same title are distinguished by their respective writing dates, while other documents are not marked with a date.
5. In the "Title Index of Letters":
- A writing date is appended after each title;
- When arranging the recipients of letters in the order of the Pinyin alphabet, only the surnames are used, regardless of the names before the surnames. If the surnames of the recipients are the same, the recipients are first sorted by their first names, then by their surnames;
- Letters to the same recipient are arranged in chronological order of writing.
6. The titles of documents in the "Appendices" of each volume of the 2nd edition are separately listed in the "Title Index of Works and Notes" and the "Title Index of Letters."
7. The "Title Index of Non-Lenin Works" includes several documents from the "Appendices" and other non-main body parts of each volume of the 2nd edition.
