Features: This book conducts research based on the theme of "Yuxi Urbanization," divided into three parts and eight chapters. Part ( and Chapter 2) starts from the guiding principle of "Small Towns, Big Strategy" to elaborate on "Implementing the Urbanization Strategy to Promote Common Progress of Urban and Rural Areas," which is a significant practical issue concerning the coordinated development of China's national economy and society. The second part (Chapters 3, 4, and 5) begins with the overall development goals proposed in the "Fifteen-Year Plan Outline" of Yuxi City, discussing the core issue of actively advancing urbanization and improving its quality as an indispensable component of Yuxi's modernization efforts. The third part (Chapters 6, 7, and 8) starts from the overall development goals of the "Fifty-Year Plan Outline" of Yuxi City, closely linking with practical realities and fully utilizing Yuxi's superior geographical location and realistic transportation advantages. We propose the new concept of the "Yuxi Pearl-Axis-Hub Urbanization Model" with the aim of seeking effective means to implement the overall urban development plan of Yuxi City.
