Features: Each sub-report of the 2005 series of development reports by Renmin University of China was reviewed by the editorial committee for topic selection, overall framework, main content, and writing style. The editorial committee organized seminars with relevant experts to review the outline of the writing. Each report operated under the chief editor system, with the chief editor appointed by the university's Academic Committee Chair and Secretary-General Meeting, and then appointed by the university. The chief editor would appoint deputy chief editors or executive deputy chief editors. Consultants from relevant departments and renowned scholars were invited based on the theme of each report. Renmin University of China's Center for Sociological Theory and Method, the Institute of Chinese Economic Reform and Development, and the Center for the Development of Humanities and Social Sciences served as the supporting institutions for "Renmin University of China's Social Development Report 2005," "Renmin University of China's Economic Development Report 2005," and "Renmin University of China's Humanities and Social Sciences Development Report 2005," respectively, playing a major role in the organization and writing process.
