Features: The author has been engaged in postgraduate teaching of "Educational Policy and Educational Law" for many years. Therefore, when designing the system and content of this textbook, drawing on years of teaching experience, it was felt that for the sake of facilitating teaching and improving teaching effectiveness, it is necessary to design the textbook from four aspects and highlight its characteristics: , the content should be concise, avoiding excessive focus on the meticulous refinement of terminology and concepts. It advocates using concise and incisive language to narrate relevant content, to avoid the readability being affected by an overly academic tone. This is also considered in light of the different learning needs between professional master's degrees and general academic degrees; second, the materials should be novel, reflecting the latest research findings as much as possible to keep pace with the times. Readers will see that many of the materials cited in the textbook are from recent years, such as the inclusion of a large number of recent reports, educational policy analyses, and evaluation reports in the educational policy section, as well as the introduction of the newly passed "Promotion Law of Private Education" in the educational law section, and some recent educational legal events in the field of education over the past few years; third, appropriately increase case studies to facilitate readers' self-study and discussion. Students in professional master's degree programs generally have work experience and expertise, as well as a certain level of self-study ability and problem-solving skills. The key is to find suitable case materials for them to learn and discuss, which can greatly improve teaching effectiveness, making the teaching lively and dynamic. In line with this idea, this textbook includes a significant amount of case study content; fourth, appropriately broaden the research perspective, avoiding discussing educational policy in isolation from educational policy or educational law. Educational policy is part of public policy, and educational law is also subordinate to the entire legal system. Therefore, it is advisable to draw on some systems thinking to examine the relevant content within a broader context.
