Features: This book is suitable for intermediate and advanced learners who have a certain level of German proficiency. It can serve as a textbook or supplementary material for university studies, as well as a preparation guide for the German university entrance exam. It is suitable for group learning in the classroom and also for independent study, especially as the exercise answers at the back of the book provide a self-checking mechanism for self-study. In teaching practice, we have found that some phenomena in German grammar confuse intermediate and advanced learners, and these must be practiced with emphasis. Out of this need, we wrote this textbook, aiming to consolidate, expand, and deepen existing knowledge so that learners can understand complex language structures and actively apply what they have learned. Practice has proven that this textbook is indeed effective. There are two guiding principles throughout this grammar exercise: First, the selected grammar chapters are thoroughly explained, followed by many examples for clarification, and then gradually supplemented with targeted exercises, finally with comprehensive exercises. Second, to make grammar learning more engaging, the exercises in this book are organized by thematic articles, allowing learners to practice grammar difficulties as much as possible within related or complete texts, at least within a meaningful unit. When using this book, you don’t have to stick to the chapter order in the book and can adjust it freely. The "See Also" hints in the book help establish organic connections between chapters when the order is adjusted.
