Features: In recent years, with the comprehensive advancement of China's higher education system reform and the rapid development of higher education, college student work has also entered a brand-new stage of development. Under the new circumstances, the impact of the knowledge economy, the promotion of quality education, the effects of college expansion, and the reforms within colleges themselves have brought about various new situations and issues, posing new requirements and severe challenges to student workers. To seize opportunities amidst challenges, student workers must keep pace with the development of the times, continuously improve their theoretical knowledge, optimize their knowledge structure, enhance their management capabilities, update their ideological concepts, and, on the basis of inheriting traditions, use scientific theories to guide new practices, summarize new experiences, and strive for innovative development. This is the inevitable demand of the era and also the inevitable requirement for the development of college student work. This book collects 77 papers, which comprehensively reflect the work of college student workers in our province in implementing the "Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Strengthening and Improving the Ideological and Political Education of College Students," developing student work, and making new understandings, practices, and achievements in the interpretation and construction of student work. The "interpretation" aims to answer the authors' new understandings of the scope, connotation, and extension of student work matters; the new descriptions of the attributes and characteristics of the subjects and objects of student work; and the new positioning of student concepts, nature, roles, responsibilities, and qualities. The "construction" focuses on the exploration and innovation of models, mechanisms, institutional theories, and methods of student work, with the goal of establishing a scientific, professional, and standardized student work system.
