Consider it to be symptoms of balanitis. The common causes of balanitis are bacterial infections due to local uncleanliness, or a weakened immune system, and fungal balanitis caused by sexual transmission. For bacterial balanitis, potassium permanganate solution can be used for cleaning, and Bactroban ointment can be applied externally for treatment. Fungal balanitis requires cleaning with sodium bicarbonate solution and applying Daktarin ointment externally for treatment. Note the need to avoid unclean sexual activity, and if there is sexual activity, the female partner should also be examined and treated.
