Features: The concept of the "post-industrial economy" indicates that significant changes in industrial structure are the economic characteristic of this new historical era, involving changes in the operating principles of modern capitalist economies and having a profound impact on the speed and manner of economic growth. This book aims to reveal and explain: (1) the profound reasons for the formation of the post-industrial economy, exploring its operating principles and characteristics; (2) the development direction of industrial and fee structures toward the expansion of the service industry. This book discusses the second major transformation of industrial structure in developed countries, so it primarily involves empirical data from the late 1960s and early 1970s onward. Although the formation of the post-industrial economy has only been around 30 years, relatively fewer materials are available for use compared to the industrial economy period. However, in this new era, due to the closer economic ties between countries worldwide than ever before, higher levels of productivity development, and more common and rapid changes in industrial structure, the existing statistical data are sufficient to demonstrate the characteristics and trends of this industrial structure transformation. This research includes three aspects: , a general analysis of industrial structure transformation, with a focus on the second industrial structure transformation; second, an empirical examination and theoretical analysis of industrial structure during the post-industrial economy period; third, a study of the impact of industrial structure during the post-industrial economy period on economic operation and growth.
