Features: This issue collects the collaborative efforts of the Research Center for Christian Studies at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Department of Chinese Studies at Veritas College in Canada. The academic conference titled "Anthropology of Christianity" was organized and held at the "Hepingli Hotel" in Beijing from October 26 to 29, 2001. Approximately 80 scholars attended the conference, and nearly 50 academic papers were submitted. During the conference, Dr. Xu Zhiwei and Dr. He Guanghu gave keynote speeches on "Anthropology of Christianity." Dr. Xu's topic, "Human Nature, Modern Science, and the Incarnation of Christ," and Dr. He's topic, "The Survival Manifestation of Human Nature—Revisiting the Intersection of Christian Philosophy and Chinese Religious Philosophy on Anthropology," elicited active responses and in-depth discussions from the attendees. The 50 papers submitted by conference participants on the theme of "Anthropology of Christianity" help us understand the current trends in the study of "anthropology" within Christian systematic theology.
