The fifth chapter is "Exchange Rate," which not only analyzes the risks inherent in the rapid increase of foreign exchange reserves and the strategic during capital account opening from a macro perspective but also discusses how to improve the efficiency of the foreign exchange market from a micro perspective. Using the interest rate parity theory, it analyzes the key issues in the development of China's foreign exchange market from an empirical perspective and explores the feasibility of the RMB as a regional settlement currency.
