Can seminal fluid that doesn't liquefy be treated with traditional Chinese medicine?

Patient's question:

I am 35 years old this year and have never had children. Later, after a thorough examination at the hospital, I found that my semen does not liquefy. The doctor prescribed a lot of Western medicine for me, but after taking it for a while, there was no significant effect. I want to try traditional Chinese medicine again. Can semen not liquefy be treated with traditional Chinese medicine?

Doctor's answer:

The reasons for semen liquefaction failure are based on the liver and kidneys. If there is yin deficiency, it may generate internal heat, consume semen, or if the original qi is weak and kidney essence is severely depleted, or if liver qi stagnation transforms into fire, shaking the semen chambers, all of these can affect the normal vaporization of semen, leading to infertility.
Then, if damp-heat is accumulated internally, scorching the semen, the clinical manifestations include semen that does not liquefy, being viscous and yellow, burning sensation in the urethra, or aching and discomfort in the perineum, or painful ejaculation. General fatigue; hot and dark urine, or cloudy urine after urination. Red tongue with yellow greasy coating, and slippery or rapid pulse.
For miscellaneous diseases: clear heat and resolve dampness, nourish yin and reduce fire.
For spleen and kidney yang deficiency with phlegm-dampness accumulation: clinical manifestations include semen that does not liquefy, being abundant and viscous, obesity, heavy limbs that are not warm, and excessive phlegm in the throat. Pale tongue with white greasy coating, and deep slippery or rapid pulse.
Warmly tonify the spleen and kidneys, and supplement some vitamins. Also, maintain a regular schedule and avoid alcohol.
