Features: This book is dedicated to introducing how to identify one's own and others' personalities and develop corresponding interpersonal strategies. It discusses several unpopular personality traits and the characteristics of healthy personalities. Usually, children can only allow their favorite playmates to play with them, but as adults, even if they strongly dislike someone, they must pretend to be polite. For such unavoidable situations, many people feel uncomfortable and become troubled. Moreover, the more people they interact with, the more frequent personality conflicts they encounter, leading to greater distress. However, relatively speaking, adults over 40 tend to experience fewer such troubles. This is because, although worries stem from interpersonal relationships, as they age, they gradually learn to get along with others, and others' opinions gradually become less important to them. They no longer pursue self-change unilaterally but instead begin to adopt a different perspective on themselves, thinking, "I'm not too good, but I'm not too bad either." As for others, they often think, "This is just who they are," and generally do not demand too much. People in this age group also learn to let go and no longer act impulsively or force themselves. Perhaps because they are constantly occupied with work, they simply don't have time for these trivial matters. Therefore, the younger a person is, the more proactive and self-reflective they can be, but the more troubles they also face.
