Features: The Materials Series of the Northern Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (hereinafter referred to as the Series) was compiled and published under the approval of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China History Research Institute, the Central Committee History Leading Group, and the Central Leaders. It was developed according to the planning for compiling and publishing the historical materials series of the Communist Party of China, formulated by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China History Research Institute. The entire series is divided into four volumes: the Comprehensive Volume, the Northern Committee Period Volume, the Period of the Land Revolution War Volume, and the Anti-Japanese War Period Volume. The series primarily reflects the historical activities of the Northern Bureau and its predecessor, secondarily reflects the important historical activities of its affiliated organizations, and also reflects the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China over the Northern Bureau and the party organizations at all levels in the Northern region. The Comprehensive Volume consists of four parts: overview, historical evolution of organizational structures and list of leaders, biographies of important party figures, and chronological table of major events. The other three volumes are composed of overview, selected documents, selected newspaper articles, memoirs, special research materials, etc., and include several important historical photographs and comprehensive charts.
