Features: During this survey, following the requirements of the "National Soil Fertility Survey and Quality Evaluation Procedures," the "Implementation Plan for Soil Fertility Survey and Quality Evaluation in Jimo City, Shandong Province" was developed. The "Soil Fertility Evaluation Standards" and "Soil Environment Evaluation Standards" were formulated to conduct a quality evaluation of the soil fertility and environment in Jimo City, determining six soil fertility levels and three environmental quality grades across the city. An information management system for soil fertility in Jimo City was established to systematically manage the survey results, providing public access to queries and technical services. A total of 19 color maps were drawn, including distribution maps of soil organic matter, major, secondary, and trace elements, as well as soil fertility level maps. This survey placed special emphasis on practical applications in production, and five thematic reports were compiled, covering sustainable soil resource management strategies such as balanced and complementary fertilization techniques, as well as the utilization and management of fruit and tea garden lands.
