Features: Professor Hong Tao has been engaged in economic research, publications, and papers since 1986, with nearly 400 achievements. He has consistently focused on many key issues in the circulation economy concept and practice, offering advice and suggestions for the reform and development of China's circulation industry, and publishing many unique insights. Directly at the Business Focus—Professor Hong Tao and the Media selects and compiles some interviews with Professor Hong Tao from mainstream media since 2000. Unlike his (monographs) and (collections of papers), this book reflects Professor Hong Tao's academic thoughts accumulated over more than 20 years of his research career from another perspective. This book is also a side view of China's circulation sector reform, recording many key issues such as consumer value storage, discounted competition, foreign-invested commodity trading markets, market service centers, food safety, entry fees, branded markets, e-commerce, business culture, circulation enterprise reform, commercial outlet planning, private brand development, wholesale industry opening strategies, catering market development, grain circulation, "direct subsidy" policies, futures markets, commercial insights, credit consumption, consumer rights protection, excessive packaging, industry pricing, and other hot topics. The publication of this book is innovative. It is neither a deeply complex professional treatise nor a simple compilation of hot events. Instead, it reflects Professor Hong Tao's unique perspective on key issues. It does not represent any particular party's interests but reflects Professor Hong Tao's strong sense of social responsibility. It is not merely Professor Hong Tao's personal views but also encompasses the intellectual exchanges of many experts and scholars in the industry. What runs through the entire collection is Professor Hong Tao's relentless struggle for truth.
